Refurbishment of Elisava School of Design's auditorium in Barcelona.
A long platform with a step section is created to compensate the space's exaggerated length while foam panels are installed to improve the space acoustical performance. The panels hide the lightning which is adaptable to different programmatic requirements. The design intentionally seeks to create a chromatic and semantic contrast between the historical charm of the space, the old Commerce Chamber of Barcelona and its new function.
