From 2005 to 2010, Nacho ran Mamori Art Lab, a laboratory for experimental creative exploration in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. In this adventure he was joined by photographers Asier Gogortza and Jordi Llorella as well as Humanist Marcos Ruiz. Together they organised 12 workshops on photography, sound art, architecture and design, bringing more than 100 international participants to collaborate closely with the local community. The project was sponsored by the Department of Culture of Generalitat de Catalunya and Institut Ramon Llull.
